Multi-Studio Owners Expand Yoga’s Presence
Even in this era of unprecedented challenge and competition, three tenacious Atlanta studio owners have been able to sustain multiple studios and broaden their reach. Elspeth Brotherton, Ahoo Sarab and Lori Denton influence thousands of yoga practitioners throughout the metro area, employ dozens of teachers and juggle the demands of entrepreneurship with the kind of equanimity that comes from years of personal yoga practice. We caught up with each of them to learn more about their journeys and the communities they steward.

Korsi yoga purchases still hot yoga
The same week that Still Hot Yoga (SHY) celebrated its 15th anniversary in October, Roswell’s Korsi Yoga purchased the studio. Ahoo Sarab, owner of Korsi, along with Cleve Willis, purchased SHY, where both have been students. Willis has also been a teacher at the studio.
“It is one of the longest-standing hot yoga studios in Atlanta,” Sarab wrote in a recent email. “At this time, we plan to keep the studio running as is. We will continue doing what the studio does best, which is create a safe and caring space for the hot yoga community, utilizing the Bikram Yoga method of instruction.”
